Trust is only built by time. . . Reindeers and local culture go hand in hand here in the North, as their history is inseparable. We visited local reindeer herders to learn more about these beautiful animals and the culture of Sami people. @jaakkolareindeerfarm provided us an insight to their lives and some tricks for handling reindeers. I will leave lassoing the reindeers for the pros though and just happily enjoy a sleigh ride once the snow comes. . Have you ever met reindeers?

And into the forest I go, to seek answers and nurture my soul. . . If you know anything about me by now, you must know how much I love nature. This place is dear to me and I've walked among these trees since I was a child. Being here fills my heart with peace as this stream fills the lake, where our countryside cottage is by. This year the water runs low and the wild blueberry harvest was poor, but the forest seems well. I almost stepped on a bear poo on the way, maybe he ate all the berries... . .
